I saw a "wrench" a while back but cannot find it again. It was styled like a wrench, but on the end it was basically a big circle with cutouts for all different metal thickness's to determine how thick something was before you welded.Anyone have any idea of what I am talking about? Thanks

Reply:Ask your local Miller rep. I used to have 2 really neat keychain gauges, gave one to a friend, and lost the other one on a bet with another friend (long story). But I sure wish I had another one. Last time I checked, you could get one for about $3-$4. Or, go to Millers website. It's not listed in their store, but if you call them you can get them to sell you one.
Reply:I got one in the truck and one in the shop. Reply:Hey Firescooby.Go to http://www.millerwelds.com/pdf/spec_sheets/DC12-54.pdf, and look at the metal gauge that comes with the Miller 140AS, 180AS, and 211AS. If that is what you want, the keychain mentioned by JC'sWelding in this thread, the Miller part number is 229895. My LWS did not know what I was talking about, but Miller gave me the part number. They ordered me 4 of them, I think for $4-5 each. They are well made and very handy to keep with your welder. My dealer said he was going to keep some in stock.Burt _____________________Miller Syncrowave 250Millermatic 211Miller 375 Plasma Cutter Hobart Handler 12010FtDrillBit.com
