I have a miller auto darking hood that I bought about 5 years ago and was wondering do they make any differnt lens? A friend of mine has a old Jackson hood he bought 20 years ago and the filter is so clear,it is by far better than the over priced miller hood. I just turned 49 and the old eyes aint what they used to be. So when I use the old lens it is obvious it is clear,I almost wont to use the old hood in stead.1990 SA 200Miller 225 Rip Miller302Miller 135Lincoln 200 MigHypertherm 600 PlasmaPlasma Cam Cutting TableMikita Cold SawJL Welding Tx . com
Reply:Then use it and throw the 'flash' one away. Best thing you could do I'd rather be hunting........USE ENOUGH HEAT.......Drifting around Aussie welding more pipe up, for something different.....wanting to get home.
Reply:I have the Miller Ellite, and thats about how old it is, Do you change out the inner and outer cover lenses very often? I also recently added a 2.25 diopter cheater lens to mine, and it made a world of difference!I could see through mine fine, I just couldn't focus very well on my work.#1. If you don't like what I wrote, or if it offends you, then don't read it!#2. I am living life the way I see fit, if you don't like the way I'M living, tough sh**!
