Pantograph flame cutter

I thought that I would start a thread while I am in the final stages of building my flame cutter.  I have been working and thinking about this project going on two years in November.  This thread will be a work in progress, I hope you enjoy it, and please add any comments you might have.  I will be adding more pics this week.  The first picture is of the torch assy.  The oxy level is controled by a bicycle hand brake. Reply:I have been a ham radio operator for 12 years, so I have a little experience with building electrical projects.  This is the control until that I built for the flame cutter mostly out of stuff I had laying around. Attached Images

Reply:I just finished up the brackets last night that the pantograph pivots on.  The all thread bolt wraps around the main upright stand.There is a set screw at the end of each bracket to hold the pivot pin. Attached Images
Reply:I have had the pantograph arms down for months.  They are not ready for a wire wheel and paint. Attached Images

Reply:I could try to get a few but since I now use a cnc plasma cutter the pantograph is buried in the other shop. I'll see what I can do this weekend. I bought plans for the pantograph off Torchmate was happy with the performance for items like gussets and base plates just could not get very detailedStill lookin for Rock!
Reply:I too bought the plans from Torchmate.  I was very disappointed with the quality of the plans.  I asked for my money back.  Which they did and were very civil about it.I am still working on the magnetic tracer for the unit.  I want something really strong.  If you could get some pics that would be great.  I would like to talk with you via email in more length if you don't mind about the subject.  . . . . Actually, we should talk her, that way it is documented for all to read and help.Jon
Reply:what exactly does that do?
Reply:This is a shape cutting machine.  You use a "hard" pattern and it follows the outside of the pattern, transferring the shape to the metal to be cut via the torch or plasma cutter.
