I am building a rotisserie smoker/ cooker pit, but don't know where to get the internal mechanism for it to rotate. Is it some kind of bearing or what, please help. my cooker is 24 inch diameter and 5 feet long.
Reply:Burn out, Exactly what do you mean by internal mechanism? In the ones I have made I took a piece of 1.5" pipe and made a brass bushing for the shafts to turn in. I usually drove the rotisserie with a small 1/10hp motor with sprockets to really slow down the speed of the rotisserie. Let me look around and see if I can find some pics of some of the ones I have built and I will post them for you. ~JacksonI'm a Lover, Fighter, Wild horse Rider, and a pretty good welding man......
Reply:I am talking about the bushing and shaft, or what ever makes it rotate. I would appreciate any pic. you can post, or advice you can offer.
