Reply:Thanks, The 1st, 2nd and 4th shots are my work. The rest are the guys I work with. Yes it is tig, 304SS sch10, the vessels are 12" and 14" reduced down to 4". This is a textile plant that we are repiping, we have been here 16months. I don't get to weld much any more they try to keep me behind a desk.

Reply:Dang, textiles have sho'nuff changed. My mother used to work in a thread mill and at hubbard's slacks when she wasn't working with my dad on the farm, and neither place looked anything like those pictures....WAAAAY TOO CLEAN!!!Very nice work also. Did you use a roller to make most of those or were they done in place?Smithboy...if it ain't broke, you ain't tryin'.

Reply:Wow now thats nice.I need to get you to do the welding on my proposed distillery. I hate to have to buy a TIG machine and learn but i may have to.
Reply:Thanks for all the kind words fellas, a couple of years I was just a welder/fitter/operator then I got promted superintendent, this job i was pushed up to project manager. When this is over I am going back to being a plain o welder/fitter/operator. Yes this is all welded in position. I only let them roll pipe less than 2".
