Reply:Cracker, most all I ever do is goof around so don't take me too seriously. jus' funnin' and no sorries involved......Tx, 6inx12in 1/2in wall @ 36in full-pen to 6inx18inx1/2in. Its a header tube and will sit on two tube columns that are staggered in height so everything flushes at top. Cols are in a "L" pattern so one will go under and one alongside ( I really, really hope!) And I'm a Ford guy too. Had a '72 Bronc. Loved itLast edited by TEK; 01-11-2006 at 02:48 AM.

Reply:Hey TEK, that iron rack go to the frame?? I know a guy here that huals cracked and repaired reaches for loggin trucks up and down the highway. He kept warping racks and squashing bed material till they finally made him one out of 4 inch qtr wall with gussets to the frame.
Reply:Sandy- Naw it don't but everything is tied together pretty good and the rack itself is 2x2x1/4. I've had 6200# on it before. Couldn't get a beer,er, soda can under the front bumper , and things groaned a bit, but we got it done.
