Reply:Hey Geo,Need some info. What are your hobbies. Does mama have a garden? What about her kitchen...does she have adequate space for her pots and pans..and a open space on the ceiling you could hang a rack from? What about a fireplace? Do you have one?I know its gonna be kind of tough. For one youre 13. Takes money to get steel. And secondly, your brother is a welder. So Im sure hes thought of a lot. Hopefully though he has more money and lots less time than you.Ive built things for my folks. Ive done even more for my grandfolks. Ive built protective barriers around exposed spigots around the house (out in the country...horses live in the yard and kick exposed plumbing) Ive built simple lil gates, animal cages, fences, ect. You could even make a light pole...make it all ornamental and such. Mamas like that. Wire it up wiht dads help and youll have a lamp...indoors or outdoors..mobile or concrete.Just some thoughts. If you have something more specfic youre thinking let me knmowIF it Catches...Let it Burn
Reply:Try making a cart to hold your new welder. Just do a search on any of the welding boards and you will see many cart designs. It will not only give you experience on welding, but will also learn you on squaring up before welding as well. T.J.www.tjsperformance.com
Reply:Look around on garbage night and see if you can find a few old bicycles that your neighbors are throwing out. Take 3 and cut them up and weld them into a three or 4 wheel, low rider bike! It is a fun project and everybody will ask "Wow, where did you get that from?" and you can tell them that you made it! I weld just to keep my snow plows ready for next Winter!
