As spring is coming I would like to build a lattice for some Ivy.Any of you have any cool designs?
Reply:Simplest, quickest and cheapest thing, Rob, is a steel frame with wire stretched across it. That's what I've done. I made the frame out of angle (old bed frames) and drilled holes for the wire. You can create an interesting pattern doing it this way. I made a bit of a mistake in having the pattern too intricate with too many wires close together. Because the plants are bulkier than the wire, I've lost the definition in the pattern in some places i.e. it's become a green mass.Another idea for a patter would be to do something like the gate I did (see other post).Scott
