As far as I know, no one repairs regulators or torches here.Everything is mailed to the states. I'm in Hawaii.There used to be someone, but I'm thinking he retired or is just not doing it anymore. Is there someplace where they do training and certification??????I would want to do it only part time, and only do welding regulators.
Reply:Several of the gas manufacturers of torchs and regulators offer training for thier equipment. There is no certification for repair torches or regulators. I have heard It is possilbe to obtain a U.L. Listing for rebuilding equipment, but I do not know of any repair facility that has spent the money to do it.
