Reply:That's a good lookin' bumper,Kam. let us see some pics when you finish or put on pics as it progresses.  I like your welding table. Those old gov't desks are almost bullet proof. Besides how many welding tables have all those drawers? The casters is a really good idea. The base for mine is from a scale setup the hospital threw away for weighing people who can't stand up. The base is made of 2x2x1/4 sq tube w/ casters. It's 30" square, so was perfect for my 3'x3' table w/ 1'x3' catwalk grate ext for a cutting table.                  MikeOl' Stonebreaker  "Experience is the name everyone gives to their mistakes"Hobart G-213 portableMiller 175 migMiller thunderbolt ac/dc stick Victor O/A setupMakita chop saw

Reply:Those long neck are for those times when you just need to sit and figure things out.Alot of great ideas are born from those times!(and a few bad ones)LOL
Reply:Well almost done still need to add reciever  hitch tubing for Warn winch that I am making portable and maybee some lights.                                   Not bolted tight at time of piture ,had to oblong mounting holes on one side to level it out.Last edited by kamhillbilly; 04-23-2006 at 03:05 PM.
Reply:As my mawmaw used to say..."gooder 'n snuff."Smithboy...if it ain't broke, you ain't tryin'.
Reply:If you look under truck you can see my mean big watch dog with his  teddy bear(awwwwwwww) What a suck.Dont try and steal anything from mt house you may get licked to death!!!!!!!!!
Reply:Nice lookin' job,Kam. You may already have this in mind when you build the winch mount, if there's any square tube left build a frame extending out past the winch so if it gets bumped into something it'll have some protection.               Just a thought,                                   MikeOl' Stonebreaker  "Experience is the name everyone gives to their mistakes"Hobart G-213 portableMiller 175 migMiller thunderbolt ac/dc stick Victor O/A setupMakita chop saw
Reply:Yea good idea even though I think I'm planing on storing winch in box of truck, but you never know! Thanks
