Reply:Very cool patrick, thanks for sharing. The race car is cool, is that a sunbird? Where on earth do you find fiberglass parts for that?John -  fabricator extraordinaire, car nut!-  bleeding Miller blue! http://www.weldfabzone.com
Reply:The picture of your car must be pre season, because it's dent free.  Just curious but where do you race it?  What kind of track?  Occasional racing or are you running for points?  Nothing more exciting then the roar of the motors when the boys have come out to play. Of course the hot dogs, beer and pretty ladies don't hurt either.  I do enjoy the dirt track racing.  Good luck. Here in the Great White NorthMosquitoes can't fly at 40 below
Reply:Is that a frame jig for a motorcycle?!?! If so, I'd love to see some more detailed pics or even some plans. Nice stuff BTWSure, I can fix it... I got a welder!!!
Reply:Good looking workshop Patrick, Lots of interesting things.Simonhttp://members.optusnet.com.au/~abba/index.html
Reply:I could be wrong, but it looks like a 4 cylinder Super Stock with pavement tires. I'm also curious, do you race it, and if so, where?
Reply:I also saw the cycle jig. I bought plans for a jig like that from Butch's welding in Canada. It came with prints for 4 frames also. Haven't had time to get it together though. Very detailed plans, and professional.Bill

Reply:The car is a pontiac sunbird. The nose piece is from a Chevy berreta ,The tail piece is pontiac grand prix the hood is a cowl induction all pieces were adapted to fit.I have not had time to take it to the track this year. The motorcycle frame jig i made from just loking at other peoples ideas. If you like i can post some detailed pictures. If you look close you can see the bottom rails act as tracks i can configure for most any bike just by loosening a few bolts and sliding the neck support, cradels and rear axle support to what ever position i want.
Reply:Patrick, looks good, I thought the front end looked like a Beretta! I'm sure many folks would be interested in the bike frame jig. I am too, but no time to even think about starting another project like that. John -  fabricator extraordinaire, car nut!-  bleeding Miller blue! http://www.weldfabzone.com
Reply:I know what you mean Microzone. It seems there is always time to start a project just no time to finish it. I wil post some more detailed pictures tommorow for those interested.
