we are doing speeches in about a week and i am doing mine on welding. it is a sort of demonstration and i thought of bringing in some examples of good and bad welds. is this a good idea?what else can i talk about? it has to be about 3minutes long.thanks heaps
Reply:Maybe find an common everyday thing you can make up relatively easily, but only with welding (or welding being a major component of it), and bring in two examples of it: one welded together and one pile of parts.
Reply:is there going to be a Q A session afterwards. if so, and your comfortable with welding then go with it. only talk about things you are somewhat of a subject matter expert in. the last thing you want is to be asked a question and say i don't know. at least tell them you will research the answer and get back to them. good luck"Retreat hell, were just fighting in the other direction"Miller Trailblazer 302, Extreme 12 VS, Dimension 400, Spectrum 375, HF 251D-1, Milermatic 251 w/ spoolgun Hypertherm 1000Lincoln sp 1702000 F-450 to haul it
Reply:The easiest speech? talk about the proceses
Reply:I'd agree with Evergon. Talk about the welding process. If you have access to more than one process then show how different welds look and the value/advantage of the different process. |
