any one build a gun cabnet??

HiHas any one out there built a gun cabnet "safe" out grrown my gun cabnets and need a bigger secure place to store them  away from young hands, mostleylike to see what type of locking devices that can be used   would like to pit this in my garage.  so have to be very secure.  Thanks
Reply:Yes I have.    There are a variety of locking mechanisms.  I used one like that off a truck tool box on one, and Ive used Deadbolts designs for houses on the rest.  You will need to build a little box on the inside of the door and adjacent for the bolt to fit in.   I believe I used 1/4" wall on that.   Made the box myself so I could make it as small as possible.  Oh, and the door and the wall make up one side of of the box each.  Hope this helps.IF it Catches...Let it Burn
