my TA-185 gets a new cart....well almost

due to the lack of attentiveness of some drivers i have scored about 80 or so ft. of 1" aluminum square tobe and a realy nice set of 5" swivel wheels. so i can now start on the new cart i promised my new TA-185 when i had to put it on the old shared cart i made 5 years ago. odds are i'll have plenty left over to maybee make one for the plasma and MIG too. some one was nice enough to run into a supper market rack they put bread or cakes or something on and knocked it out of square so the racks wont go in it any more, scoor one for me as ill be cutting it up i dont need the trays to fit LOL. here is the first bit cleaned up to start the cart project, another good excuse to play with my new TIG i just love it. 2nd pic is the old all terain cart that is holding every thing now. Reply:i made that one to drag around the property and back and forth between the 2 shops, i have a sereous shortage of solid flat serfaces so the cart has a real purpose, the TA is less likely to be getting moved around as much so i think a few nice small carts built for the welders will make working in the shop much easyer as i can just pull the one i need upto the welding table and leave the rest parked out in the other part of the shop.been planing on making a new cart for the TA ever sence i got it just been holding off till i could aford aluminum for it just because i can do it with the TA and it seemed like the right thing to do. good TIG playing time in it too. summer is here, plant a tree for mother earth. if you dont have time or space, sponcer some one else to plant one for you.feel free to shoot me a PM or e-mail me at [email][email protected] i got lots of time.
