new tb 302

hi ,   does anyone know if the tb 302 have a computer ?  anyone have any complaints about it? also the 12 rc. is it a good product?  any suggestions on up grades? is the standard q 300 a good gun?          [im buyin somthin this week before the wife finds somthin to spend my money on]     benny

Reply:The TB 302 has a 3 phase welding generator.  3 phase anything is better.  A 3 phase welding arc is more stable than a single phase.  Lincoln and the Bobcats (and a few others) are single phase generators.The 12 RC is good.  The only complaint is the weight with a new roll of wire.  I wish that I would have bought an 8 RC.  It is really nice to do adjustments at the work.  I think that the RC are better than the VS.I don't know about your gun.There is nothing to upgrade on this (TB302) machine.  A few cool stickers will help.My complaint with the machine is the fuel gauge has been inaccurate, at times.  The lights would read full when the tank went empty.  Other than that, it has been great.I hope that this helps.....-RhynoLast edited by Rhyno; 02-16-2010 at 09:44 PM.07 Fowler 200D65 RedFace04 Miller TB 302, 22hpMiller 12RCMiller HF 251-1Lincoln SP135HyperTherm PM 380and a few others...
