I was just wondering how one gets into buggy racing / building. Although fabricating a buggy is something of a future thing for me, repairing one wouldnt be beyond my skills (depending on the repairs of course). I was curious how one goes about getting into the sport. Naturally you need a vehicle but I assume there are inspections that have to be passed, rules that have to be followed and so on. Reply:Try www.dtsfab.com virtually everybody there builds something, whether it's for playing or racing. Not sure how many guys actually race, but I know a few do.My name's not Jim....
Reply:They actually look a lot like the SAE baja cars.
Reply:All depends on where and who you are racing with. A rule book is a good place to start. |
