Hello all, Finally got something built that I have been wanting to do for a while, from the pics you can see the hammock takes up the majority of my lanai, so I needed one I could take apart, althought I could have welded one up real quick I needed to take it apart, that and I saved about $60 doing it myself versus buying one.  The tube is 2x2x1/8 probably overkill, but hey.  The flat stock I used to make the leg holders  was 1/8 sides and 1/4 top (they were scraps) and it made creating a tight fit around the legs very easy because the scraps were the right length.  THe legs and arms that support the hammock all have the ends capped and ground, and it was painted with hardnose paint from POR-15, ( I wouldn't do that again)  Not worth the money and everything must be extra clean in order to get good adhesion.  Anyhow thats about it,  Chris http://i89.photobucket.com/albums/k2...8/DSCN0605.jpghttp://i89.photobucket.com/albums/k2...8/DSCN0594.jpghttp://i89.photobucket.com/albums/k2...8/DSCN0592.jpghttp://i89.photobucket.com/albums/k2...8/DSCN0591.jpg

Reply:Those cans have not had gas in them for a very long time, and up until a few weeks ago the lids had been open on them, I really like the thrill

Reply:I see a nice hammock in a garage that definately needs more stuff put in it (welding table, O/A cart with tanks, shelving full of unfinished projects and scraps, pedestal for that grinder, workbench to pile stuff up on.  Youve got a good start though, have the aircompessor, drill press and necessary fire hazards nearby.  Use it for cars??  Nuh uh, gotta make it your shop of metal man.   Looks comfy though, gotta luv that fridge.  Note for a future project: Make water dispenser into a beer tap.  That airconditioner will work better in a window too.  The shelfs will help organize these things that you will get too..eventually.It is a very nice hammock.  snooze away.  Welding looks good too.Various GrindersVictor Journeyman torch200cf Acet. 250cf oxygenLincoln 175 plus/alpha2 gunLincoln v205t tigLincoln 350mpEsab 650 plasmaWhen you can get up in the morning, Its a good day.Live each day like its your last.
