Reply:Last night I had my 15 year old son and 19 year old daughter using the Tig on carbon steel.  Today we are going to do aluminum.Life is good.

Reply:david and paintman thats awesome, i wish my dad could teach me welding...instead of the other way around  but learning carpentry from him sure was cool....that things pretty cool....a couple years ago in the school shop a guy made a little chopper out of some nuts and bolts that were kicken around
Reply:Thats pretty cool there paintman.David R, its cool that your teaching your kids skills like tig welding. I know all the things that my father has taught me have become very important. He always tried to teach me a little about every trade. That way he said I would always have something that I could do to make money. Every day I appreciate the skills he has taught me. My father is a firm believer that a country boy can survive. Reply:That's cool.... in N. Conway NH there is a restaurant called Horsefeathers and upstairs they have a nativity type of display that depicts a day in a bar. The entire display is made from nuts, bolts, washers and other misc metal. I will snap a picture of it when I'm up there in the Spring and post it. It's actually pretty awesome._________________Chris
