4-5 Person Chairlift Rocking Chair

Picked this monster up today from some guy here in Portland for DIRT cheap.  It was pulled off the manufacturing line (from Germany), and was supposed to be for a ski shop.  Never got there and is in new condition (minus a few scuffs/decals). Will be converting it to a rocking chair for now, and once the cabin is done I will convert it to an overhead pin (like it ought to be).  Ive got some new rear leaf springs off a 3/4 truck and was thinking of using the main leaf as the rockers and hard mount it directly to the copper eyes of the springs (do away with a shackle suspension)...If anyone has other ideas of what madness I can get into for spring break Im up for any/all suggestions!  I think that having a box has warped my mind a little.  This seems like perfectly good furniture.Last edited by DirtyLittleSecret; 02-23-2007 at 09:31 PM.ThermalArc 185MillerMatic 180 w/ AutosetVictor Cutskill Oxy/AcetyleneThermal Dynamics Cutmaster 38and spite!
