Have any of you used or better yet made any of these. If you have do you have some measurments I don't want to buy them just to get the measurments and degree of angle. kraftymate Attached Images
Reply:I made some to hold 4x4s, but just welded the tubing to my base. I have them at a 15 degree angle with ten foot legs. I welded a nut to the tubing and run a 1/2 inch bolt through to hold the 4x4s. The angle seems to be fine and the stands are pretty stable. I have made four different stands this way for about $10 a stand. A whole lot cheaper than the $60 to $75 i have seen for the pre made ones

Reply:I do have some pictures but it says that they are too large to upload. My stands are made with 1.5 inch square tube bases and the remainder of the frame is 1.25 inch angle. The leg tubes are welded to 6 inch sqaure plates and then split the corners of the base to give a wider stance. The 4x4s are X'd with 2x4s.
