Earlier this week the question was raised about a Three Layer Weave..So...With the perfect opportunity today to demonstrate..What the heck..More heads for rollers..But these will be subject to tremendous pressure when in use so the weld has to be burned in good....Head..(I have 4 to do)First pass can be "fused" even though fusing cold rolled stock will not hold very long..But thats not the point..The point is how to get a real good penetration without beveling..Fused first pass..Second pass with filler..Third pass with filler..Last "weave" or stitch as I call it..The important info..All passes were done @ 220 amps..3/32 Red end..1/16" 70S-2..15 SCFH argon..5 sec. post purge..I get all the fun jobs... ...zap!I am not completely insane..Some parts are missing Professional Driver on a closed course....Do not attempt.Just because I'm a dumbass don't mean that you can be too.So DON'T try any of this **** l do at home.
