My Trail Blazer 302 Air Pak   Suitecase 12rc625 Extreme 50 ft controller cable Took my rusty piece of junk and my friend in the pic and picked it all upran it and discovered one air feedback tube was not connected to the controller hooked that up runs great lots of air no oil leaks or other problems so farIt has it all...... i just ordered the condenser/separator option Now i have to plumb the air outlet and make up cablesI got 100' of 2/0 cable to make my extended leads....2- 50 footersand 25' of 0/1 for short ground 10 foot and stinger lead 15 footNow i need some advice I want to use quick connectors for lead changes i don't want to go over the tweco vs densedebate but i want your advice I am thinking about replacing the standard lug connectors on the front panel with quick connector  terminalsEither the Radnor F panel socket # BE3570 or the Tweco F panel # 114TSFThe Radnor's are cheaper and an international standard so they sayThe Twecos are very popular in the industryAnd adapters are available to go to either style in case i need to use cables with the other type connectorsI will Thank You for the advice before hand Backed my CATMA over your CARMA oops clusmy me  What would SATAN do ?? Reply:I put the tweco -lug to tweco 45 degree adapters on and the covers locked back into place when done ...looks nice and sanitary  Got the 1/2  in copper pipe to make the saddles for the connections Getting antsy i want to weld with it now....but got other things taking priority right now Backed my CATMA over your CARMA oops clusmy me  What would SATAN do ?? Reply:nice but i cant see spending $4000.00 on a air comp.the comp. will last 30,000 hrs so your going  to have to rebuild the the engine 8 to 10 times before the compneeds work by then will miller go to a new engine co.like they did with onan to kohler then whati rather go with a low rpm diesel like the pro 300that will go 30,000 hrs and a quincy gas compthat will go 50,000 hrs for the same money

Reply:i dont think they offer the diesel on the air pakbecause it would cost over $13,000and i think a diesel engine that runs at3600 rpm it a waste the hole idea of a d engineis low rmp that why they last longer than gasa good d engine will run from 1800 to 2200 rpm and will do it all day long(not a good diesel a real diesel)Last edited by ed mac; 04-30-2010 at 10:07 PM.
Reply:Well done!  I have been looking at compressors with the same cfm and psi and it will cost atleast $2500 for the engine/compressor which weighs 550lbs.  I am very close to following suite.  If you are still working the machine after 10,000 hrs business should be good, stashed some money away and time to upgrade/rebuild anyway.  Congrats and up date us on the trial... CAG... see how the air blows.
