So i need to make a low resistance pallet carousel with a 60" diameter.Looking at the following:This is the 6062 arch tube with the sharp corners.1" square tube with .125 wall.1.25" square tube with .125 wall.75 ball bearingsIf i have the Tubes rolled to fit inside each other and cut the top and bottom off of each and fill the 1" tube with ball bearings im assuming that the 1.25 tube ride over the 1.25" tube.Or if you guys know another option im all ears?
Reply:Interesting idea. Pallets of materials being typically heavy, I would think a thick wall steel pipe would be better for the application than light, soft aluminum tube. One sched 40 or above steel pipe rolled into a circle, then cut down it's length on 2 sides so there are 2 pipe halves, one atop the other, with bearings in between and a small gap between the pipe wall edges. Then support the bottom pipe on a frame so it stays in plane.MM350P/Python/Q300MM175/Q300DialarcHFHTP MIG200PowCon300SMHypertherm380ThermalArc185Purox oaF350CrewCab4x4LoadNGo utilitybedBobcat250XMT304/Optima/SpoolmaticSuitcase12RC/Q300Suitcase8RC/Q400Passport/Q300Smith op
