aluminium stairs fix

Im not one too criticize work but what you are about too see is pretty badim doing some work for a guy that I work with to fix his stair case he had built by an unknown company but they butchered it up I bacically have too clean it up plug all the holes. move some steps and build new railings none of it met code and he is out the money he spent.

Reply:plugging holes. the stairs were powder coated we had them sandblasted and after im done we will have them beadblasted before repowdercoating them. yes its thick aluminium I had to break out the healium

Reply:Wow the welds that used to hold that stair-case together are absolutly craptastic. Good luck on the fix, the few times I've had to fix other people's work are some of the few times when I hated welding, seems like no matter what you do you just keep finding things you wish could be better. You mite be able to grind and re-weld all their pidgeon-poop looking welds, but your nice new welds are still on their poor fit-up.

Reply:the stairs are outside neer the pool I guess for reasons of oxidation. the funny thing is that there is stainless railings in the house
