Reply:I found it a little cheaper. I've never used one of these before but I think I'm going to give it a try. I assume it fits comfortably under a hood?http://www.envirosafetyproducts.com/...-assembly.html
Reply:From what I have been told on here it does and I ordered one plus an extra set of filters because my schools vac system doesn't suck.
Reply:I'm not familiar with that site and its not showing any information on my site checker, have you or anyone else here ordered from them before?
Reply:I'm really not familiar with them at all. I just googled it and that's what I found. I'll probably give them a try though.
Reply:I have used one, they are ok. The 7500 half mask is better, especially if you have facial hair: http://www.envirosafetyproducts.com/...spirators.htmlI now use one if I am doing any welding or grinding indoors. They fit pretty good under a hood unless you need to get into a tight area.Miller is supposed to be coming out with an under hood mask, last I heard it was going to be available in July.
Reply:Damn, the seller took 5 days to ship the item so unless you are ok with waiting I'd go elsewhere.
Reply:I just got my 6000 today from Enviro, took well less than a week including the weekend... smooth over the phone> give 'em the card etc... went well if that is the one U want. Xtra particle filters are 2 for $5. I'm an average sized guy, 5'11" 180# no beard etc and the large fit me well.Lincoln Power MIG 215Lincoln WeldPak 3200HDLincon ProCut 25Lincoln WeldanPower 225 AC/DCIf all else fails... buy more tools |
