Concrete mixer

I just mixed a barrow load of concrete, all for one fence post. I have about 30 more to go. Does anybody have a photo of a concrete mixer they've built or something I could copy or a link to plans?Clive

Reply:For fence post I just pour it dry.  Tamp it and go.  It works well, especially sense you can adjust make adjustments without affecting the setting.  The sand and gravel set the post quite tight.  It will set hard eventually or you can add water. It also helps to dig a bell shaped hole (wider at the bottom).A fence guy shared that with me when I had 30+ post to set.  I have been using the dry method for a couple of years.Last edited by tapwelder; 05-13-2007 at 01:42 AM.

Reply:Mixed 880lbs of concrete with a hand trowel and 5-gallon bucket once.  There was no skin left on the back of my hand.
