Well I decided to re-do the boat trailer since I had to get it inspected. I got fenders from E-bay and made tabs and welded the tabs on so I could bolt the fenders to the tabs. I then painted the fenders using rustoleum mixed with a nasson reducer and hardner. I used a husky HVLP gun. They came out pretty good. I then had to get the boat off the trailer so I built a cradle. My old man got the bucket loader out and we slinged it up and got the boat on the cradle. I then sanded and painted the trailer using the same mix. Reply:This is after the first coat of paint. I mocked up the bulldog trailer jack and welded the coupler on. I then drilled the holes for the center three lights. I made a jig for that on the milling machine with the DRO, so the holes are exactly 6 inches apart and all inline. Next up, second coat of paint and the surfaces for non-skid I will add black beauty.

Reply:Trailer looks pretty nice, I use tons of Rustolium and cut it with Nasson too, it lays down so smooth and glossy.
Reply:TJ- I saw your post elsewhere, but never got around to commenting. Is the pipe tongue original?
Reply:The trailer came with the boat. The trailer is a home made unit. I did not make it. The welds are not that great, they seem strong but do not look nice. They look like they were done with a stick.T.J.www.tjsperformance.com
