Going to buy a used lincoln tm 400/400 with an arc stablizer never have used one before wondering how it would do on alumnum. I have heard that they were good ac/dc stick welder wondering if anyone owns one and how they like it.

Reply:I got mine for 200 dollars came with hf box tig torch 4 tweco disconcts and stick welding leads. I just got it home sunday night pulled the cover to make sure nothing made a nest in it and fired it up smoothest welding dc welder i have ever used run 7018 like butter. Hope to get some argon and try out the hf box hope to post some pics of it soon.
