any ideas for this one

picked this cooker up tonight and i want to refurbish it but im not sure where to start,i want to make it moble so i know im gonna do a trailer,but it really needs alot of work,any ideas??Last edited by MicroZone; 06-13-2007 at 11:48 PM.

Reply:From the photos it just looks like surface rust. Check out the rust, repair it or just repaint the cooker  and use it .  Looks great from the photos. What do you mean by "it needs a lot of work" ?MikeLast edited by MJDamiani; 06-14-2007 at 12:47 AM.

Reply:Nice looking cooker.Wire wheel the surface rust and maybe a coat of quality high temp paint.I'm getting hungry.Favorite right now is a Miller Syncro 200.Tons of tools and I blame at least one of them when things don't go right.
Reply:Whens the cookout?  That looks like its in great shape.  Just needs a little TLC.   That trailer is perfect for it.   You could almost just get one of the cheap trailers at Home Depot or Lowes and bolt it right to the trailer.Come try it out and stay a while.
Reply:You could make an arm to hold the doors open - maybe at different heights.  Or maybe make a slide out ash tray for the firebox.  Personally, I would degrease the inside, then pressure wash it, then smoke a side of bacon or something greasy to re-season it.  Dang I miss living in Texas sometimes.
Reply:Looks pretty mobile to me..... hit is with a wire brush or wheel and slap some hi-temp paint on it.  You don't want it looking too pretty then everyone is going to think you don't know how to use it.wish I had one.Michael
Reply:it doesnt go with the trailer thats just how i got it home,i bought it to referbish and re-sale so im thinking of making a trailer for it and fix the rest,believe me this thing needs some work
