here is what I managed to come up with the other night when I  decided I was not going to pay for mounts and dismounts of tires.  VERY OFF-ROAD! like never see black topI had some 1" DOM  tube and some "spring steel"  So I thought I would take a chance and try to change my 36" tires to my new 38" tires and it worked... very tough;however, it saved some $$$ After a bit of cutting I tried my tig skills "which I have been experimenting with"  and came up with this contraption [IMG]http://i204.photobucket.com/albums/bb226/nojeep/Picture106.jpg[/IMG   weld it like you own it

Reply:I bought the manual tire changer from Princess auto and found it to work pretty good. I have had it for two or three years now and change all my tires with it. I have done some 33" and 35" on my dune buggy rims with great success.Miller DVI2Lincoln Precision Tig 225Thermodynamics Cutmaster 38Everything else needed.
