Is this a good price? I found an ESAB PCM-875 Plasma for $1000, NEVER USED. I can't decide if I want to jump on it or what a little longer and get a Hyperthem PM-45.
Reply:Go with the Hyperthem PM-45Miller Syncrowave 200 TIGMiller 252 MIGHarris Multistage O/A setLincoln AC-225 SMAW
Reply:I have a PM1000 G3 and it is sweeeet, The consumables last very well and the machine cuts expanded without re-triggering and contaminated surfaces with no problem. I havent run an ESAB, but I know the hypertherm works well and has a ton of factory support an email away if I need it. If i was buying again, I would go with a known quantity and stay hypertherm. I run it on a 4x4 torchmate plasma machine and use standard and fine cut consumables on all metals from 18 Ga to 3/4. BobI'm spending my Kids inheritance, I dont like him that much anyway!!!!!!Enuff tools to do the job, enough sense to use em.Anybody got a spare set of kidneys? Trade?
