I poked fun at your pic of the aluminum foil, so now it's your turn.I got a PT-225 a few months ago and just started practicing. It's kind of hard to practice when my 2 year old keeps pulling on the bottom of my shorts and says "Da Da, choo choos"!   2 pieces of .100 mild steel tubing running 100 amps and no pulse. I've only got about 5 hours total on this machine - I know I have to get more practice in and straighten out my dips, I keep forgetting to slide the filler down and that's why you can see where I had to restart Attached ImagesFire!, Fire! Oh wait, that's my torch...Lincoln PT-225 TIGLincoln 175 MIG
Reply:i say that looks really good for 5 hours of practice. looks great at the right hand side just before the restart. im sure zap wont need to poke fun at these welds.http://datingsidorsingel.com/
Reply:I don't poke fun at anyone's welds..Unless they ask for it..Looks good.....zap!I am not completely insane..Some parts are missing Professional Driver on a closed course....Do not attempt.Just because I'm a  dumbass don't mean that you can be too.So DON'T try any of this **** l do at home.
Reply:Looks good, spacing on "pulses" is little too wide.Looks like you went for the "stack of dimes" look.  Did you pulse the current via pumping the foot control or set the machine to pulse, or did you create this effect through a start/stop torch motion with wire dip?
Reply:Looks good for 5 hours of practice. I agree with pulser, dip spacing is a tad bit far apart, group them closer for more strength.John -  fabricator extraordinaire, car nut!-  bleeding Miller blue! http://www.weldfabzone.com
Reply:You may want to pull a little bit of amperage out.  It looks as though there may be a little bit of undercut in some areas because of it, but other than that, looks pretty good for 5 hours in!
