A bucket job :)

Another job that came in last night.  He wanted it fixed, not a new cutting edge.  I said OK since the shank only had one bolt in it and that is why it broke.I tack welded the piece in place both sides then gouged it with my Hypertherm 600.  Welded one side with 1/8" 7018, then back gouged until I got my weld on the other side.Last edited by David R; 08-23-2007 at 09:40 PM.Real world weldin.  When I grow up I want to be a tig weldor.

Reply:I think he needs to go w/ narrower teeth if he's digging lots of rock. That style is fine for hoggin' dirt.
