Lincoln Precision tig 225 power cable

All,I'm new to welding and have purchased a used PT 225.  The torch power cable leaks pretty badly.  I'm having a hard time figuring out what is the best replacement.  Can anyone make a suggestion?  The torch is a Radnor 17.thanks.
Reply:Since nobody else has replied, I would suggest that you visit your local welding supply store, take your old torch, and ask them what your options are, and what they would cost.   You don't have to make a decision at that moment, but maybe it will be obvious from a cost standpoint, or maybe they will have a strong recommendation.Looking at the web, I would guess that a new torch with hose would be less than $100, so not a huge investment.The 17 model is a common one, I believe, rated 150 amps continuous with air cooling.  That should be enough for most uses.   To go much higher, you would probably need a water cooled torch, which would be a big investment, as you would need a water cooler.  I would suggest going for a direct replacement of what you have. You might consider how long a torch cable you need.   Unless your welder is some distance from your bench, you can probably live with the basic 12 foot cable.
