zap got that camera

well boys, girls took your advice and got a new camera.im still a bit green but ill get there, heres a few pics of a 5 inch butt stick root, i used a 2.5 gap, 6013 rod , 2.5 . amps for the root 80  90. 6013 dosn,t have the punch of 10  so you need those extra amps to push through. i hope if you don,t mind, to post a few threads ,start to finish as i promised before.i had enough old pics for this but i think i can get a better set together.pipefitter. this is just a water pipe but you get into a habit of trying to do them all the same,and on these, a missed piece of the root dosn,t matter,its practice for the one that doesLast edited by MicroZone; 09-05-2007 at 01:12 PM.

Reply:Wonder if anyone has ever tried to take the flux, throw it in their yard, then tell the wife that you think there might be snakes lurking about.It kinda looks like snake skin in the picture.

Reply:Keep those pics coming.  That is some nice work!  Makes me want to post my pipe welds.  I'll get some tomorrow if I can get some time.  All we use is 6010/7018 so not much peeling slag.
