I know what it is. I had to have it when I saw it. Who else knows what this contraption is. Reply:It's for pulling off your boots.  Put the heel in the "V" and the other foot holds it down while you pull your foot out of the boot.

Reply:It's called a boot jack.  I've seen some interesting variations, such as a large cast scorpion, or some such bug, with horns that you hook the heel in.Gary

Reply:In the last picture we can all see that it can also be used to beat helpless dogs into submission.  Or, maybe it's a tool for finding dogs that have been misplaced.  It pointed that one out real good Smithboy...if it ain't broke, you ain't tryin'.
