First i had to make a jig,first on top of a heavy cabinet but that started to sag so i built a table under it out of some 2 in waterpipe and 3in channel.that worked out great with the leveling system i used.I made the bottom table wheel barrow syle with 2 heavy caster on one side,though with the motor on it its just to heavy  wheels all around would have been better   the motor is at the correct height and angle after a few oversights  think twice weld once. next post-- Attached ImagesVictor SuperRanger O/A                                         Solar migLincoln Powermig 140Southbend 9in lathe350# kohlswa anvilMiller Maxstar 150 stl etc....

Reply:All this has taken a month of Sunday's so far,and if you want to start adding up $$ for steel,bending dies,My new Miller maxstar 150 stl with remote fingertip control  an argon tank and i guess tigging i wont be able to use my hand held welding mask Ive been so fond of.Might as well get one of those fancy blue ones  OH you don't even want to know the prices of DOM tubing Ive seen some pretty good looking sportsters for what Ive spent so far  but hey a store bought tree house wouldn't be any fun now would it? Reply:Wow,and here I thought I was the only one that has ever used an old southbend.I used to buy the belts that you bonded tho.I been thinking about building my own frame,I have the milling machine and some ideas,but no exp.making frames.but,,,,I DO know how to ride one,that's what matters most ,,,,right?lol!
