ADA Gate Width?

Does anyone know what the minimum gate width is to meet ADA? I figured it would be the same as a access door, but wanted to be sure.Dynamic MetalworksMontrose, CODynMetalworks.com

Reply:semi off topic,  but I listened to a raidio progam a few weeks ago about how there are some disabled people in california that make well into 6 figures a year just going around and suing over ADA violations.As i understood the program,  this can only happen in California as its the only state to have a law that awards cash damages to the suer,  at $4k a pop.Some poor small buisness owner got sued for having the coat hook in his bathroom too high.

Reply:Yea there was some woman who drove up and down the 5 freeway between LA and Sacramento (500 miles) stopping at all the truck stops and gas stations and then filing law suits against all that did not have proper handicap access ramps, hand rails etc.  I dont think the woman was even handicapped.  I believe she touted herself as being a champion of the handicapped, all the while fleecing her pockets with money from all the lawsuits.Interesting side note:After Googling walking directions for a trip in Park City, Utah, Lauren Rosenberg claims she was led onto a busy highway, where she was struck by a vehicle. She’s now suing Google for damages.http://searchengineland.com/woman-fo...hit-sues-43212Maybe its just me, but after she loses I would like to see a counter suit filed by google for defamation, and have them drag the case out as long as possible until  her legal fees are so high that the woman doesn't have a pot to piss in. Somehow I doubt anyone will be willing to defend her pro-bono on that case.
