new job

hi, everyone, i received notice to start a job monday, here in fargo,nd, i tried 4 companies, & was batting 0-4, but i have out of welding for about 2-3 years because i couldnt get a job, any job. obviously i am a survivor, a lot of shelters, but i didnt give up my welding career, at age 50 +, they do mig & sub-arc on wind towers, a mig test but no sub-arc test. i have subarced at a shipyard before. but they will refresh my memory. no formal certs. who cares. i have passed 1" vertical & overhead stick & fluxcore in the last 2 years. you dont forget unless you want to. sort of like an ex. anyone wanting to travel fargo has a lot of welding work, so do about half a dozen other towns in north dakota. that is why i oved here. i now believe a dog has 9 lives too.
