Hello all. Well I did something new on the PCam today, thought I would share. Its a clock in the shape of Oklahoma. The buyer is presenting it to someone as a plaque, and will be having a small engraved placard placed on it. Just a note, the hanger on the back was also made on the PCAM and bent up on my mini press brake. Reply:Thanks guys. Ive sold qiute a few plaques and branding irons on the Air Force Base. Its tradition to give departing members a gift or two. People really like the more uniqe stuff that I can do on the PCam, and this is the first clock. I like it, and I hope its well recieved. Reply:I was on a short deadline on this one, and didnt have time to play around with it. I spent too much time deciding how I wanted it to mount. I was originally going to put a base on it so it would stand up on a desk rather than hang on a wall. I cut all the pieces for the base, but didnt like the idea in the end. It took me more time to make the wall mount peice on the back, bend it, and weld it. After that I tested it on the wall, and it foud that it didnt hang right because it was spaced so far from the wall, so I added the backing pegs to keep it parallel to the wall, instead of leaning forward. Pretty much in the end, I am making no money on this because of how long it took me to make.
