I own a 1986 miller trailblazer 44d. I just recently acquired this welder a few months ago, i noticed on the front panel on the bottom right are two areas for fuses ( the type that you twist and the fuse pops out). I pulled out one of the fuses that was fried and the only specifications on it are ( Buss MDL 6/10 125 volts) the other fuse area contained a small metal rod. the welder starts up just fine. I looked in my manual and no where dose it have a reference for fuses on the front panel , so i went to my local welding supply stores such as airgas and praxair and neither of them could tell me the use for the fuses nor the proper replacement , according to them they should be non existent. Can you please tell me the use and proper replacement for the fuses? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks , Travis
Reply:Being an '86 I'd say they were the AC power outlets cartridge fuses F1 & F2 (45A/250V).
