Reply:Generally the higher the amps and the bigger the electrode the larger the cup you will need to use. As the amperage goes up the size of the puddle grows and you need more coverage. However, there are exceptions in cases where space is limited. If the cup is too small the electrode will overheat and the puddle won't get coverage. Too big and you need much more gas. I am sure there are more experienced tiggers here that will help more.
