CO2 Tank Bracket w/ Pics

I had a friend bring by a simple design for a bracket to hold a CO2 air tank and hose in the back of his Toyota Land Cruiser.His drawing:I made a couple of suggestions to the design, the main one being adding in a few "feet" to hold the bottom on the tank:The design calls for using 1" nylon tie-down straps to secure the bottle.  I punched the oval holes for the straps:Then added some round stock to support the corner bends and provide a smooth surface for the straps to be threaded through.  This will prevent the straps from running over a sharp edge and being damaged over time:I don't have a roller at the shop so the cradles for the bottle were hand formed in a vice using a piece of pipe:Test fit:The bracket will be mounted to a metal support behind the kick panel:The bottle can be safely carried and used to inflate tires and run air tools on the trail.  The wings on the cradles will be used to hold the 25' air hose:Drive a Legend:Cheers,tpwww.tompenningtonphoto.com
Reply:I like it..Good idea with the round stock...zap!I am not completely insane..Some parts are missing Professional Driver on a closed course....Do not attempt.Just because I'm a  dumbass don't mean that you can be too.So DON'T try any of this **** l do at home.
