Reply:It's for pneumatic material conveying lines...wood material typically. This one is for a pulp mill. Actually, we built 10 of these this weekend...most of the pieces were formed and half or more of the transitions were already done as well. They have to be hardsurfaced on the inside seams. About 6 hours of welding on each. The 0.52 metal core and a 6oo amp machine help it along.
Reply:Backs are formed in the press brake ...the mild steel parts and flatbars are rolled
Reply:This is a pic of one of two cyclone collectors for the system...I didn't work on it. It's lined off on the inside with QT 100 wear plate
Reply:Nice work. What kind of coverage gas did you use, Pure Argon? Sincerely, William McCormick
Reply:I see you welded the square to rounds. You didn't have a 400,000 ton press? Ha-ha.Again really nice work. Sincerely, William McCormick

Reply:The transition was with metal core...the rest was with hard wire, 0.035" using a CO2, Argon, oxygen mix...Argoshield light. Spray transfer at about 32V.
