Still learning stuff about my old shorthood but I found something that I can't get my head around. In the pics (looking at carb side of engine) you can see a short length of pipe coming out of the engine block just to the rear of the generator housing and just foward of the air cleaner. When I crank the engine then oil comes out of it. Any ideas?StephenMillermatic 251Miller Syncrowave 200Miller 30A SpoolgunHypertherm Powermax 30Etc., etc., etc.............Cancer Sucks!

Reply:Maybe an oil pressure gauge belongs there. Where does the pipe originate on the block? Near an oil gallery?Last edited by Oldiron2; 12-17-2010 at 04:24 PM.
