What Is This On My F162?

Still learning stuff about my old shorthood but I found something that I can't get my head around. In the pics (looking at carb side of engine)  you can see a short length of pipe coming out of the engine block just to the rear of the generator housing and just foward of the air cleaner.  When I crank the engine then oil comes out of it.
