hey guys, im looking at buying a tig, and dont know much about the older stuff. id say this one is older. id imagine its scratch start, aircooled, and doesnt use a pedal. does it have to have a arc machine to go with it? ive never seen one before, and its local to me. if anyone could give me any info on this, id appreciate it. thanks!http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...ayphotohosting trey
Reply:I can't say i've seen one of those before, seeing that it has no cables at all might make it more hassle than worth, You can get a used "tombstone" machine and do this http://tigdepot.com/products/p35TD-BBTF.htm for under $500StangnetShop Full Of Stuff. Joey
Reply:It doesn't look like much of a welder to me, and it comes without anything and untested. On e-bay, if it looks like crap, it usually is. I'd pass.Hank
Reply:hnkj is right I would Pass Do Not Touch written on top, is bad news
Reply:Has anyone actually ever done this setup or used one???http://tigdepot.com/products/p35TD-BBTF.htm I Have an old Lincoln Tombstone welder.Does this thing really perform?
Reply:i pieced a kit like that together myself and i get great results from it, My machine is an inverter so i can't give a transformer report on how it works.StangnetShop Full Of Stuff. Joey |
