I'd like to practice welding aluminum with a wire-feed welder. I have a bottle of 75/25 mixture. I know 100% argon is recommended, but has anyone tried using 75/25 on aluminum? If so, how did it turn out?
Reply:It is like trying to run your gas engine on diesel, or running your diesel on gasoline. It just does not work. |
