Hi everyone Received some interesting metal templates in the mail a few weeks ago, along with a series of photographs that showed the template temporarily clamped to a racecar chassis (super vee). The photographs included reference numbers and some dimensions for the build. I fabricated a catch can from the template and photos, out of some .080 Al. 5052. The can features a drain plug, nipple for a filler tube, and a site-glass. The large recess in the top side is where the can will rest in a chassis tube and the pinch clasp will keep it mounted solid.
