The Wife's Rack....

I know what you guys are thinking. He posted in the wrong forum...Well my wife has more pocket books than Amelda Marcos had shoes. She decided when we move into the house we are re-doing she wants to have a rack system to hold her pocket books. She even came up with the design. I took her design a little further and made it a bolt together type system. This makes it easier to disassemble and move it if I need to. Also, I might want to have this thing chromed so it would be easier to chrome the pieces instead of one big unit. You can see how I tig welded the nuts in and ground them smooth so the flanges sit flush. I then made a jig and tacked the flanges on. I also made a jig to make the hooks. I have a lot more hooks to make and finsih the leg kickouts. I got my steel at Logan steel. I have about 20 bucks worth of material. Reply:Thanks people. I already built a shoe rack. She lets me get whatever tools I need with no problems. She even helped purchase my Bpt. Milling machine. So I gotta give a little, plus, yes it is more excuses to buy more equipment. Reply:Thanks for the idea. My son is moving into a small apartment and was complaining about not having any closet space. I can take this idea and maybe help him out. I could build something for my wife's clothes, but I would have to use some six inch I beam.
