I've done some searching but am coming up short on the subject of AR500 (or similar) formability. The aspect that needs to be addressed first is flame straightening and forming. As in... "get the thing hot so we can bend it" What are the risks?FYI: 1-1/4 Plate Mill Cert: Austenitized at 1680 F for 10 min., water quenched, tempered at 400 F for 13 min and air cooled. |
